This little video clip was taken on Thursday, the day before yesterday. That was Elijah's best day to date! He had many times where he would be calm and quiet, just looking around, for quite a while (5-10 minutes), or just cooing and smiling. This has been practically unheard of for him, so it was lovely to see him like that! He cried most of the evening though, and had a not-so-good day yesterday, and a pretty bad one today. He's asleep this evening though. So up-and-down with that poor baby boy!
Anyway, it was just a random moment really, in our day. Samuel (18 months) had been sitting by himself working on something (he does this a lot), and when I looked over I saw that he had pulled a pair of knitted teddy bear dungarees over his head like a hat. He looked so funny, and Benjamin was laughing, so I got the little camera which has video capabilities. After a bit, Samuel stopped doing that, but other things caught my attention so I kept on with the video clip. I happened to get Elijah cooing and smiling a bit which is a lovely first on video! :) I wanted to post it here, because I often take video clips and never get around to posting them, and then I look back at my blog to see what we were doing X years ago or something, and find not a lot recorded, but TONS in my photo or video files on the computer which I wish I had just taken the time to post to my blog, even if just for me to look back on and smile at. So here it is! :)

Awww your boys are all so precious!!! Lovely video! :)
Oh Alice what a beautiful beautiful video! I just popped in here this evening to check if you'd written up lately, and seeing this warmed my heart! Such gorgeous boys :) And you sound so calm and serene. Lovely!
Oh I love to hear your accent. : ) I am sorry to hear that Elijah is having reflux problems. My dear Katie was miserable for the first 7 months of her life. Those were some dark times for her and sometimes for me.... well all of us at times. She is now over her reflux and off her meds. Praise the Lord. I pray that he gets better soon and has lots and lots of those precious smiles and coos. Oh how I miss those newborn days!!!!!
Your boys are so sweet!
